September is International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Each year, Zoé4life marks its commitment with a major event: Day4life.
This special day allows the public to come and show their support for children with cancer. This large-scale event is open to everyone and allows everyone to participate.
Thanks to the sponsors and partners who support this event, we can usually cover the organization costs. Thus, the donations and the proceeds of sales collected during the day allow us to financially support more than 100 families whose children are affected by cancer each year.
Day4life is a village with food and drink stalls, many activities for children and a stage to welcome a variety of Swiss musicians and bands. It is a day of solidarity dedicated to life and hope that attracts more than 1,000 people from all over the Suisse romande region.
Important Information – COVID
Due to the covid-19 pandemic, all the necessary measures to guarantee the safety of the public, our volunteers and the musicians will be put in place.
- The event will take place within a fenced off area
- All people 16 years of age and over who wish to enter the event area must present an ID card with a “covid passport” which states that: either they are vaccinated, or they have had a positive diagnosis for COVID, confirmed by a PCR test less than 6 months previous, or that they have had a negative antigen test of less than 48 hours (reimbursed by insurance up to 1x / week) or a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours.
Although these rules are beyond our control and must be applied to everyone, we cannot derogate from them (and we would not want our event to be a cluster.
Despite the additional costs that this generates for Zoé4life, entry to the event will be free.
These rules should not hold us back from participating in this day of solidarity which has only one goal: to support children with cancer.
Zoé Village is a stage for shows and concerts throughout the day in the spirit of a mini-festival. You will also find many stands with a wide choice of food and drinks offered by our volunteers.
Many activities are also organized for the youngest: treasure hunt, make-up, creation of jewelry, decoration of cupcakes as well as the popular activity offered to the public by young firefighters.
