The cart Jayson Attitude" sports and leisure games

Since 2014, this adapted sports activity cart has been offering edutainment games to children confined to isolation rooms at the HUG.

The aim is to get children moving and active. Sports games keep them busy during those long moments when they can't get out of the room.

The idea for this play cart came from Jayson, an 8-year-old hero. Indeed, he spent several weeks in one of these rooms in total isolation.

In 2019, the offer of adapted sports activities is being extended to children from the entire HUG pediatric oncology department.

Every year, in collaboration with the medical team, Zoé4life carries out an inventory to complete the equipment according to the unit's needs.

The equipment must be fully disinfectable. It is therefore chosen with care. It can be a bowling alley, a dartboard or a punching bag. Today, exercise equipment such as floor mats and large balls are also available.

This project is entirely financed by our association.

Thanks to the support of Rotary Club Genève-LacThanks to this partnership, the entire cart was renewed in 2020.

Zoé4life funds a number of projects that enable children to improve their daily lives, both during and after treatment.
