Children undergoing cancer transplants will be isolated in a sterile room for an average of 6 to 8 weeks.

Since 2022, Geneva University Hospitals (HUG) offer to personalize the child's room. The decoration is chosen by the child.

The children can thus prepare themselves more serenely for this long period of isolation. It also makes them feel a little more at home.

Children from all over French-speaking Switzerland generally go to the HUG, which is a specialized center for this type of treatment.
