How to cure more children?

Accelerate research and ensure access to innovative treatments in Switzerland.
Speeding up research is one of Zoé4life's main aims. Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children, and children who are cured have many after-effects due to treatment.
Zoé4life's aim is to find better treatments that will increase the cure rate while reducing toxicity and long-term sequelae.
Healing more and healing better: our mission
Zoé4life gets involved to advance research
Improve cure rates. In Switzerland, a child dies of cancer every week. Some cancers have a very poor prognosis from the moment of diagnosis, and for others, despite successful treatment, relapses are frequent. Zoé4life is a partner of Swiss Pediatric Oncology Group to advance specific research into these types of cancer. New research projects are rapidly emerging thanks to our financial support. They are set up in Swiss hospitals so that children currently undergoing treatment can benefit from them. The results of these treatments are evaluated at international level to determine the best course of action to improve the cure rate for all children, today and tomorrow.
Thanks to our financial support, nine studies have been opened in Switzerland and two more are in preparation.
Zoé4life supports two other innovative projects for children who would otherwise have no hope of recovery
CAR T Cell immunotherapyA new hope for children with cancer in Switzerland.
A international partnership for a new treatment for neuroblastoma.
More information on these two major projects will be published soon!
Mobilizing the international research community
Zoé4life is also involved in international research, with Childhood Cancer International and Accelerate..
Childhood Cancer International
Zoé4life is represented by its president Nicole Scobie on the executive committee and the European regional committee of this international organization. Nicole is particularly focused on research development and treatment advances.
Accelerate
An international organization that brings together researchers, manufacturers, regulators and parents, working together to accelerate access to the most effective treatments and speed up the transition from the laboratory to the clinic. Nicole Scobie, President of Zoé4life, is a member of the ACCELERATE Executive Committee and plays an active role in this work.
Together, we'll make a difference! Thank you for your support!
