Kanji - pearls of courage
Kanji: pearls of courage to encourage our heroes in their fight against illness.
This program is set up by Ligue vaudoise contre le cancer and the beads are financed by Zoé4life. Thanks to these beads, the children have a way of bearing witness to their fight against the disease.
The program has multiple benefits for the young participants. Many children use their necklaces to explain to their friends all the challenges they have had to overcome through their cancer treatments.
The child receives a bead after each medical procedure or milestone. In this way, the pearls can be used to facilitate certain treatments or interventions.

Children of all ages can participate in this program. Even very young children are enrolled in the program by their parents, who collect the beads for their babies.
In the future, these tangible memories will remind them of the courage they showed at such a young age. Parents often feel that they themselves have benefited from this collection of pearls that highlight their child's journey through treatment.

This makes it easier for them to cope with their fight against cancer. The program encourages them by highlighting their strengths. Collecting beads helps children feel proud of their achievements.
The encouragement from the program is endless!

The pearls are the exclusive property of the Dutch Association "Parents, Children and Cancer" (VOKK). The beads may not be copied in any way or used for any other purpose. The project is set up and run in French-speaking Switzerland by the Ligue vaudoise contre le cancer, with support from Zoé4life.
