D-3 Make a donation and reduce your taxes
Donating to associations recognized as being in the public interest reduces the tax burden.
Zoé4life is a registered charity. This means that our activity is recognized by the State, which acknowledges, values and legitimizes our work. We meet the criteria for tax exemption. As a result, Zoé4life pays no taxes. As a result, we are able to use all funds raised for the purposes set out in our articles of association.
In practical terms, this means you can deduct donations to our association from your tax bill. Donations claimed on your tax return reduce your tax bill. What is allowed is defined by the Confederation and the cantons.
When you make a donation to Zoé4life you will automatically receive a donation certificate. This document must be attached to your tax return.
For over 8 years, Zoé4life has kept its operating costs under 10%. So when you donate to Zoé4life, you can be sure that your donation will go straight to the association's goals.
