February 15, International International Childhood Cancer Day
Since 2002, every February 15 has been International Childhood Cancer Day. A day to remember that pediatric cancer is still the leading cause of death by disease for children under 18.
1,440 minutes to remember that every year, more than 400,000 children around the world are diagnosed with cancer.

24 hours dedicated to a cause that affects an average of 345 children every year in Switzerland. A disease that still kills 1 child every week in our country, despite its excellent healthcare system.
For more than 20 years, February 15 has been raising public awareness of the plight of entire families. Because when a child is diagnosed with cancer, the whole family finds itself torn between life and death... between hospital and home... between fear and hope.
Over 20 years, and yet in all that time, too few scientific advances have led to new treatments... Some cancers are still not curable. All this time and yet, too little research has been done to find less toxic treatments to avoid serious after-effects for the majority of children lucky enough to survive.
Can we really do no better? Is it really possible to do more?
At Zoé4life, it's not just on February 15 that we fight to advance research and raise public awareness, it's all year round... Every day is February 15, and every day, we have the hope that together, we can make a difference for children with cancer.
It's time to consider these children... your child, your granddaughter, your cousin, your best friend's son, or simply that young girl you met on the bus. It's time to focus on them and give them a better future. Because they're our future too... and because they're tomorrow's future...
