Unfortunately, these treatments can have serious long-term consequences. Recent studies show that around a third of adult survivors of pediatric cancer have fertility problems, and that these have a major impact on their quality of life.<\/p><p>Preserving fertility is therefore essential for the future of these children.<\/p><p>In Switzerland, fertility preservation techniques have recently become available for children of all ages. Unfortunately, these techniques are not covered by insurance companies.<\/p><p>Zo\u00e94life partners with the CHUV and the HUG to offer children with cancer fertility preservation surgery.
