Speeding up research is one of Zo\u00e94life's main aims. Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children, and children who are cured have many after-effects due to treatment.<\/p>

Zo\u00e94life's aim is to find better treatments that will increase the cure rate while reducing toxicity and long-term sequelae.<\/p>

Zo\u00e94life gets involved to advance research<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Improve cure rates<\/strong>. In Switzerland, a child dies of cancer every week. Some cancers have a very poor prognosis from the moment of diagnosis, and for others, despite successful treatment, relapses are frequent. Zo\u00e94life is a partner of\u00a0Swiss Pediatric Oncology Group<\/a>\u00a0to advance specific research into these types of cancer. New research projects are rapidly emerging thanks to our financial support. They are set up in Swiss hospitals so that children currently undergoing treatment can benefit from them. The results of these treatments are evaluated at international level to determine the best course of action to improve the cure rate for all children, today and tomorrow.<\/p>

Thanks to our financial support, nine studies have been opened in Switzerland and two more are in preparation.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
